OPHELIA/MACHINE, presented at Melbourne Fringe Festival 2018, has a pool, some bodies, some ink, some mess. Through a diverse group of female-identifying bodies OPHELIA/MACHINE interrogates how, why and what we do to female and non conforming bodies in writing and on stage.
Bridget composed the music and sound design for Ophelia/Machine. Guided by the four acts/elements of water (birth), air (love), earth (death), and fire (rebirth), their composition sought out sounds of movement, stillness, trauma, loss, and finally, healing.
