Weaving storytelling, cello, bass-heavy tracks, sonic and visual portrayals together, Hextape and Our Carlson, centre accessibility in both performance and production. They move through our world of loud and quiet, town cryer, and quiet revolutionary, holding on to analog visuals in an increasingly tech world. Both Hextape and Our Carlson amplify their punk ethos in a fight against the top end of town that they just may win. During this musical conversation, they’ll explore Hextape’s take on Our Carlson tracks, and vice versa. One night only at Darebin Arts Centre, featuring puppets created by Golden Scissor Puppets.
